Kevin Hackwell (Forest & Bird's Advocacy Manager) will be changing the topic of his talk following the good news that Meridian have withdrawn their application to dam the Mohikinui River.
He will now speak about issues around wind energy development in New Zealand (F and B is in favour but the industry needs to be careful how it proceeds)
He may also talk a bit about Mackenzie Basin in the South Island.
